Please be Alert, there's been a spate of drain covers missing at night in Bkt Mayang Emas.

Kelana Jaya - House break in / Car vandalized

There were 2 incidents and Police reports were lodged.

1) House break in.

    Member’s house was broken into when no one was in. Intruders broke through

    the kitchen door and entered. Some valuable items were stolen.

    Date /Time : 25^th June, 2013  between 1.00 – 6.00 pm

    Incident Street : Jalan SS 7/24, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya

2) Car vandalized

    Member’s friend parked his Proton Waja outside his friend’s house. He visited his

    friend and was about to leave. He noticed the side window glass was broken and

    his briefcase was stolen..

There are many crimes, ALWAYS BE ALERT and adhere to the following.

1) Keep your house main gate, clamp locked when possible.

2) Be aware when open close of gate, suspicious guys are watching your movements.

3) Make sure your doors / grille are always locked, never leave it open, especially the grille.

    Windows must be locked too. Never leave the keys on the door.

4) Never leave valuables in the car.

Car break in (Snatch thieves now targeting lady drivers)

19th June 2013 at around 6:30 pm yesterday a non-member while driving at Limau Purut,

was followed by some men. When she stopped the car, they broke the windscreen and

snatched her hand bag and sped off.

Lady drivers please be alert:

Attraction: Handbags placed on car seats attract the attention of snatch thieves

who are likely to launch their attack when the car is stationary.

When they discover that their car tyres are suddenly flat or when their cars are hit from the rear,

As these can be tactics to distract the victim’s attention.

Amelia Azura - House break in

4 Indian guys wearing mask, came by car. They followed the owner to the house and held knives, They entered tied the members, robbed them off cash and h/phones and speed off. .

Date / Time       : 17th June 2013 about 10.00 pm.

Incident Street : Jalan Batu Nilam 20d, Bkt Tinggi 2, Klang.

Bkt Bandar Raya - Snatch thieves

Many incidents of snatch thieves, the culprits target elderly ladies or ladies walking alone

Today about 7.30am, a Filipino maid was walking from Jalan Keruing to Jalan Maarof,

2 malay guys on motorbike came and suddenly snatched her handbag and sped off.

Luckily, she was not injured

.

Ladies, please be vigilant at all times.

1) When reaching home by car or walking, see if any vehicles, motorbike trailing you.

2) Do not wear expensive jewellery, when exercising out (walking / jogging) etc

3) Look around, when open/close of front gate and doors.

4) Be aware of salesman and courier delivery guy and others, at the gate.

Incidents at Terasek 2, Bangsar Baru

1) Motor cyclist pretending to be newspaper vendors moving around the neighbor hood in
    the morning between 5.30am - 6.00am. If they find any doors or gate open, they will enter
    to steal or rob whatever they can.  So doors and expecially the gate kept close all times.

2) On 14/06/13 about 4.00 am. Some guys came in a white Gen 2  vandalized a blue Gen 2
    The car body dented and the windscreen was smashed. No items were stole. A Police
     report was lodged.

Eng Ann 2 - Car vandalized/ items stolen

An owner parked his car in the compound and apparently did not lock. Some young boys

later, jumped over the fence, opened the car door and stole smart tag, a camera

and some coins. They even stole some pair of shoes and left them in the neighbor’s house

which is empty.

Please always be on alert adhere to the following:-

1) Parked your vehicles either in the compound or outside near to the gate. Do not leave any

    valuable items inside.

2) Ensure to lock the car with a good stearing lock and arm the alarm.

3) Keep expensive shoes inside the house. Leave normal shoes in the compound or shoe rack,

4) Be aware when you open/close the main gate, suspicious guys are watching your

    movements.  Also when you are returning home, see no cars /motorbikes are following you.

5) At night, leave the lights on at the front porch and at the back..
