Bangsar - Car stolen

Please take note and inform your neighbors too. 

A member’s Proton Wira was stolen by 4 indian men armed with parang, Member reported to Police.

Date : 24th June 2012 about  4.30 pm

Incident Street :  Jalan Rumpai, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Please park your vehicles inside the compound and lock with good stearing lock.

Also keep your house main gate clamp locked when possible and make sure your doors and windows are locked and keys are not left on the doors. Please leave the lights on at the back since there are no street lights. Take extra caution when there is any house under renovation nearby. If you have an alarm, please arm it.

What to do if your vehicle is stolen ??

1) Make a Police Report

Before making a police report of the theft of your vehicle, make sure you have all the vehicle details to hand ie registration number, make, model and colour of the vehicle. Bring along the Registration Card and Insurance Policy and your Identification Card.

2) Call your Insurance company

You will have to report to your insurance company immediately and give them a copy of the Police
Report

3) Cancel the Road Tax

You must arrange to cancel the road tax of the vehicle.
