TIPS ON HOW TO RESPOND IF SOMEONE FOLLOWS YOU WHILE DRIVING.

It's a scary proposition to realize that a person, a total stranger following you and with your quick thinking and action, you stayed safe. 
We would like to add some precautionary tips and warnings for others in
reading : 
How to respond if someone is following you while driving. 

1. Keep a charged up handset, have 999 speed dail - so you can have a hit one button to be        in touch with the police. 
2. Always keep all of your doors locked. 
3. Always keep your windows rolled up. 
4. Stay on well traveled roads, if at all possible. 
5. Never stop to let a vehicle that's following you pass. 
6. Make noise. 
7. Grab another driver's attention. Beep the horn and make hand signal like holding the phone. 
8. Drive to a police station. The guy behind you is not likely to stop there. 
9. Don't assume things are safe because they look that way. 
10. Don't drive to your house and let some potentially dangerous person know where you live. 
11. Never pull over and stop or get out of your car alone anywhere. 
12. Never make eye contact with the person - that's aggressive and it could set him off.
