Kelana Jaya (Sect 7) - various crimes

There were 2 incidents. Please inform your neighbors.                   

1^st incident - House break in

A member’s house  was broken into when no one was in. Intruders apparently

damaged  the front door padlock, the main door and gained entry. The house was

ransacked and many items were stolen. Police report lodged.

Date /Time        : 22nd January 2013 between 4.00 – 6.30 pm.  

Incident Street :  Jalan SS 7/18 Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya.

2^nd incident – Car break in / snatch thieves

A lady drove her Honda Accord to her house. She opened the auto gate and drove

her car in without realizing 6 guys on 3 motorbikes were trailing her. 1 motorbike

prevented the auto gate from closing. 2 guys went in, broke the side window glass

and then snatched the handbag from the lady, (contg cash, documents and various

cards) and then sped off. Police report lodged.

There are many crimes, ALWAYS BE ALERT and adhere to the following:-

1) Keep your house main gate clamp locked when possible.

2) Be aware when open close of gate, suspicious guys are watching your movements.

3) Make sure your doors / grille are always locked, never leave it open, expecially the grille.

    Windows must be locked too. Never leave keys on the door.

4) At night, leave the lights on at the back / front porch.

5) Take extra caution when there is any house under renovation nearby, foreigners

     working there.

6) We encourage you to install an alarm and CCTV.
